DESCRIPTION:On the Wing of a Story – A Voyage Through Countries and Cultures Join us each month as we explore the country of one of our 11 sister cities through our virtual book club. \nOur next outing is Monday\, January 27\,  2025\, from 6 pm to 7:15 pm.  To receive the link to this virtual meeting\, email Cindy Braun at cindy.braun@phoenix.gov by noon on January 24. \nModerator:  Chengdu Committee member Ran An. \nThere are multiple editions of the masterpiece.  Mr. An will use the Kindle version:  Romance of the Three Kingdoms (with footnotes and maps) – Kindle edition by Guanzhong\, Luo\, C.H.Brewitt Taylor.  \nThis edition is approximately 1\,700 pages long and contains 120 chapters.  His discussion will focus on Chapter 37-38 and Chapter 60-65\, which primarily feature stories from sister city\, Chengdu. He plans to provide an overview of the entire book at the beginning of the book club event. \nA free copy of the book is also available online here. \nUpcoming selections include: \nSuwon – March 10\, 2025:  TBD
